JMT Joins the "Care the Whale" Project with the Stock Exchange of Thailand

JMT has established a clear approach to promoting and enhancing waste management within its office buildings. This initiative focuses on improving waste segregation processes from the source, ensuring that all types of waste are disposed of or recycled as effectively and environmentally friendly as possible under the concept of "Invisible Waste," which aims to minimize waste generation.

One of the key measures is raising employee awareness about the importance of waste segregation and encouraging proper knowledge and understanding of waste sorting. The company has designated waste sorting areas and clearly categorized waste bins in all essential locations within the office buildings to promote and support environmentally friendly waste disposal practices.

JMT has set up a total of 13 waste segregation points across its office buildings A, B, and C to meet usage needs. Each point includes three types of waste bins:

  1. General Waste – waste that cannot be recycled.
  2. Recyclable Waste – waste that can be reused in production processes, such as plastic, paper, and glass.
  3. Organic Waste – biodegradable waste that can be naturally decomposed and used for composting.

This classification system facilitates employees in correctly segregating waste from the source. Properly sorted waste can then be efficiently recycled or disposed of according to its type, ensuring an effective, appropriate, and environmentally friendly waste management process.
